Introducing Economic Perspectives
In the upcoming section of the tutorial, we will discuss theoretical hypotheses derived from the traditional economic perspectives. Recall that homo economicus is a decision-maker in an uncertain environment. She is generally assumed to be a perfectly rational agent who maintains an estimate of the world's state. If new information leads her to a more beneficial choice, we say that she has derived value from that information.
Without further ado, let us proceed to the formulation of the first hypothesis.
